About Me
Having enjoyed a career as a successful Personnel Manager whilst raising a family, I wondered what next? My interest in Reflexology had been stimulated by its life enhancing effects on my elderly Father and so guided, I decided to train as a Reflexologist qualifying in 2002.
Over the subsequent years I have found it very beneficial to both my own and client's health, whether for particular conditions or as a relaxing preventive therapy.
I was university educated, attaining both BA and MSc degrees. My Reflexology and Anatomy/Physiology diplomas were awarded by ITEC (International Therapies Examination Council). I am a member of CThA (Complemetary Therapists Association), whose Marketing arm is Embody. As a condition of membership, therapists must throughout the year undertake Continual Professional Development (CPD). Through workshops, advanced courses and attending other local professional groups I keep up with developments in reflexlogy and other relevant health topics. My aim is to enhance the health of all my clients in a holistic way by tailoring all treatments to their own specific needs.
